He was married to Amanda Miguel, a singer. “Volveré,” “Corazón de Papel,” “Usted Qué Hara,” and “La Ladrona” were among his most well-known tunes. After a decade away, he had a breakthrough in 2009 with the song “Voy a Conquistarte,” written by Mexican singer-songwriter Joan Sebastián.
